Reviewing the DMC trailer once again, I wanted to share what I saw in it on the blog pages.
In order to fully understand what was shown in the trailer, you need to dive into the previous parts.

Diving into the past!
One of the protagonists Nero:
born and raised in the city Fortune, this city is led and protected from demons Order of the Sword who worships the dark knight Sparda. Nero was orphaned and ended up in an orphanage under the supervision of this very order, he was treated well Kyrie and her brother Credo. Nero then joined this Order.
One day, Fortuna was attacked by demons and Nero rushed to protect Kyrie and as a result he received a wound to his hand, which, it seemed, would not heal, but then the hand began to turn into “something” (demonic hand)
Regarding events DMC4:
Dante breaks into the temple and begins to kill members of the order and.h. leader of Sanctus. Nero stops him and Dante escapes after the fight. Nero goes in pursuit of him and learns the secrets of the order. It turns out that Sanctus has been reborn, he, in company with a scientist, has been creating new demons for a long time and his main goal is to create a Savior and take over the whole world. That’s why Dante "visited" this city.
Sanctus blackmails Nero with Kyrie. Nero teams up with Dante and eventually defeats the revived Savior and Dante leaves Nero the sword "Yamato" which is ABSORBED BY HIS DEMONIC HAND
The action of the new part will take place after the events in the town Red Grave (possible reference to the nickname `Tony Redgrave` from the novel, but it’s better to read this yourself in the fan wiki. because it can cause a lot of damage)

Two new characters were introduced in the trailer, I’ll briefly go over them:
1.)Trailer opens from the face Morrisoh, very tanned. Driver-assistant Dante from the anime, Dante trusts him.
2.)Niko. An assistant engineer who (I think) created a prosthesis for our GG. And judging by the trailer, she’s admired as "Dante"
I just noticed how many (yes, many!) name was Nero in this trailer Dante (despite the ending of the trailer he got fat! ;/)
fights with demons.To. he uses her technology.
Niko granddaughter Nell Goldstein (from the DMC novella), which created pistols for Dante. I think that is why Niko has such a passion for weapons, technology and why she knows and is not afraid of demons. (picked fight scene)
At the end of the trailer there is a poster with 3 characters, from left to right:
1.)Dante
This is what a man looks like who rode into hell on a bike and rode back out
2.)Nero
uses the weapon of the Order of the Scarlet Queen sword, modified with a motor with which you can “wind up” the sword
and the only member of the order using firearms – a 2-barreled "blue rose" revolver
also his right arm was replaced with a prosthesis and several of them were shown + several abilities (I took out a bunch of them at once):
= regular “combat” with the ability to enhance blows with demonic power
= grappling hook
=rocket launcher (timecode 1:30–1:34)
= "freezing" the enemy
= “flying prosthesis”

3.)Unknown, whose name starts with `V` (judging by the leaks), his weapon reminded me of a katana.
And let’s start guessing on the coffee grounds!

the power of Yamato can only be used by the descendants of the dark knight Sparda (as we remember, the sword was swallowed up by Nero’s hand) and there are three of them (all known now): Dante, Nero and Vergil (Virgil).
Dante is riding God knows where and that’s why there is only one suspect left: `V`ergil, Nero’s father.
I couldn’t catch the frame, but if you look closely, the hooded man who attacked Nero is very similar to the bonus skin of Vergil from DMC4 (also bulging veins of white skin), and the sleeves of the clothes and boots of the “stranger” are suspiciously similar to Virgil’s; and if I wasn’t imagining it, the stranger is wearing a blue cloak (like Nero)!
But the problem is that in DMC3 Virgil got completely caught and was killed, but maybe he somehow got out and then we caught the villain!
But there could be a much cooler twist – the villain could be the child of Dante and Lady himself
after all, the story of DMC3 was told from her perspective, but what if it’s not breaking the fourth wall and telling the player, but telling it to a child!
